Make a Fresh Start

We all start our walk with God somewhere. Some may need a fresh start to know, love, and serve God at a whole new level. Others may want to affirm a commitment they already have with Christ. Wherever you are in your journey, we want to be there to encourage and enable you to embrace the love and steadfast faith that God has always had in store for you.

I made a fresh start, now what?

Attend a Sunday service

Get to know our pastor, members and the mission of PCC. You'll also discover more about yourself and who God made you to be.

Pray

Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection. Prayer is having a two-way conversation with God, where we talk to Him and also we listen to Him. It is a time when we set aside pride, give thanks for his goodness to us, admit our transgressions, and ask for the things we need for ourselves and others. Prayer is an act of faith and hope. We adopt humility to accept His will, and listen for his guidance and inspiration.

Invite

As followers of Christ, we are commissioned to share the Holy Spirit through invitation to others. Sharing God’s word begins with setting an example before others, beginning conversations that know no cultural barriers. Just one conversation, one act of simple kindness can open many paths to God. At PCC we offer many opportunities to spread God’s word through community activities and service.

Connect

Stay for the Second Mile session after Sunday Service to discuss the sermon with our pastor and other members to relate the Bible teachings to our daily lives. Attend a Bible study to dive deeper into the Word.

Get Baptized

Once we have chosen to live by Jesus’ teaching and accept Him as our Savior, it’s important to celebrate with our family, friends, and community! Baptism is a deliberate act of obedience and witness to the world that we are Christ’s. You can be baptized at PCC either in church, or by full immersion in the waters of Pilgrim Pines.

Read Scripture and Study

God's word is meant to be woven throughout our lives.  It gives us new wisdom to take heart and embrace every season we experience. Study the Bible, the story of God's love for us that's been unfolding since the beginning of time. Spend time in our library browsing the books, including the one written by our members titled, "God is Alive!" with stories of how God has touched their lives.

Give

Generosity to those in need, providing real hope to real people in a real world is a privilege that follows Jesus’s teachings. Giving is one way to worship God by honoring Him as your provider, helping  to remind you that all of your resources belong to Him and are provided through his grace. We trust that He will provide, and through giving we become a part of his work here on earth. PCC offers many options for charitable giving and acts of service.
