Missions and Outreach
Our mission is to serve and honor Christ in the world through our service and the service of our congregation. We meet needs that God calls us to outside our church walls: in the local area, within the US and abroad. The Mission and Outreach committee organizes the projects that God lays before us and provides opportunities for the congregants to become involved.
We pray that through our service those we serve meet Christ or grow in their relationship with him.

E & I defines, leads or supports activities designed to attract new members to Pilgrim Covenant Church. It supports the Pastor and Elders in nurturing prospective members to membership; and supports education programs that help current members effectively share their faith with non-believers.
“And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers”…..(1 Thessalonians 2:13)
“Adult Care and Education is an integral part of the Christian fabric at Pilgrim Covenant Church. The Care and Education of our adult population is treated with high priority in our programs and in our practice. We have numerous opportunities at different times and through various venues for our flock to participate in small group biblical based study.

Stewardship and Finance
1 Peter 4:10 ESV
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:
As Christians, we are taught to share the gifts we have been given…our time, our talents, our treasures. Our Stewardship and Finance (S & F) Team helps keep track of our financial resources for the church. We hope to deploy PCC resources appropriately to each Ministry so as to assist our congregation, spread The Good News of Christ to our community, and serve in various ways. S & F also reconciles the bank accounts independently of Treasury as a good financial control. All accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis, and all accounts are in order for the full year 2015. Our S & F Team added two new members in 2015, with Glenn Gotberg and Larry Shank now bringing their business and church service experience to our Ministry, along with Greg Johnson, and myself. Their time and talents have been very helpful, with good counsel on our financial decisions, and a true sense of family within our church. Like any family, at PCC we manage our church budget, try to live within our means, and make good use of all ourcongregation’s resources. The Stewardship and Finance Ministry’s role is to direct those resources, really God’s resources, in a meaningful way, in support of our Ministries, and to aid in our ability to spread the Good News.
