SWEDISH PANCAKE BREAKFAST & SCANDINAVIAN BAKE SALE 

 The Youth from Pilgrim Covenant Church are hosting a Swedish Pancake Breakfast & Scandinavian Bake Sale on Saturday, March 24, 8:30-10:00 am at Pilgrim Covenant Church, Granby, CT.  This is a “donation breakfast” benefiting the Youth.  Swedish pancakes, bacon, sausage and breakfast beverages will be served by the Youth, and delicious Scandinavian and other home-baked goods will be available for sale. 

The Youth of PCC are very active doing mission work both in the community and afar.  This year will be the third year they participate in The Hartford Project, June 24-28.  There they will volunteer, along with youth from other area churches, for many projects in the city of Hartford, fulfilling the purpose of The Hartford Project:  “to bring together youth groups from the Greater Hartford area to work with the local Body of Christ to display God’s splendor and promote His unity through acts of kindness and love. “  www.thehartfordproject.org 

This July many of the Youth will also be attending CHIC…the Evangelical Covenant Church’s triennial conference for high school students…where 6,000 youth gather at the University of Tennessee to fellowship, worship, and grow in their faith along with their peers.  

The PCC Sr. High Youth Group (grades 9-12) meets Mondays from 7-9 pm, and the Jr. High Youth Group (grades 7-8) meets Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm at the church.  Youth Pastor Matt Gillis can be reached at 860-392-8160.  Pilgrim Covenant Church is located at 605 Salmon Brook Street in Granby, just before the MA state line.
