Our Beliefs

We at Pilgrim Covenant Church are a people who have accepted the love of God revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our common life centers on:

* The celebration of God's love in worship
* Our growth in God's love through the study of scripture and Christian literature
* The expression of God's love in fellowship and service
* A loving freedom which guides us in living our our firm faith

In essentials, agreement;
In non-essentials, freedom;
And in all, Love.

"This church believes in the Holy Scriptures, the Old and the New Testament, as the Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine and conduct.
The purpose of the church shall be to unite Christians to proclaim that, by grace, God has provided forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ; to nurture people in the development of a more mature Christian character; to serve God, the community of believers and the world; and to celebrate the abundant life in Christ through the confession of sins, the declaration of God’s word and the participation in the sacraments.

This purpose shall be accomplished through the gifts, guidance and power of the Holy Spirit." Constitution, Articles IV and V
